This isn't my first website dedicated to my classes. I used to run one for the past three years that I legitimately hated. It looked bad, it didn't make a lot of sense, and it wasn't user friendly. As I sit around while my kids are debating at the 4-speaker regional tournament, I finally decided to piece it all together.
I plan on updating it regularly for my classes, and sometimes for my own narcissism. On my website you'll find several things. However, I designed this with one primary goal: to show off the creativity of my students (and to save some samples of great work). You'll find links to projects completed by the kids, samples for future students to look at, websites I like to play with, educational tools that I am starting to enjoy, and yes, even resources for those of you currently in my classes.
With the proliferation of electronic learning spaces like edmodo, my big campus, applications of google drive and a litany of others, I am struggling to find one common thread to weave everything that I am forced/like to use without going into crazy overload or confusion for my kids.
