First things first....everyone needs to check out this performance of "EVERYTHING IS AWESOME" from the Academy Awards tonight:
Last week I was 5-2, bringing my picks up to 11-3, lets see how I did this week:
Week 5 Predictions
Katie over Kim Jong TOMB (correct)
Baby Ducks over Axis of Evil (correct)
Tsunami of Insane Daleks over Teghan (a shocking upset!, Incorrect)
Lauren over the GDI (correct)
Aaron's Black Crackers will best T-Money$$$ Givens (Correct)
Macalester Milfs over Helena (Correct)
Azeem over PO Life (Correct)
I go 6-1 again, up to an impressive 17-4!
This was an interesting week. With the looming lack of confidence on the chapter 1-4 test, half of the league was willing to sacrifice countries to better their test grade by 7 points. The teams who took the bait were: Lauren, Kim Jong TOMB, Adrienne, Teghan, American Axis of Evil, Tsunami of Insane Daleks, and Katie. You can check your test scores and see if it was worth it or not, but the following countries will be available in a supplemental draft on Monday: Morocco, Venezuela, Austria, Cuba, Serbia, Syria, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Zimbabwe, Iran, Sweden, Japan, Romania, and India. Only the teams who dropped countries are eligible, and the draft order is: Adrienne, Lauren, Tsunami of Insane Daleks, Katie, Kim Jong Tomb, Axis of Evil, Teghan.
In looking at what happened on the map in our two marquee match-ups, the two did not disappoint.
Match-Up 1: Macalester Milfs vs Helena.
This was my toughest pick, these teams have been in the top 3-4 every single week, and have been trading blows in their division and moving back and forth on points. China and Greece had huge weeks for Macalester and even with a very low score from Chad, they were still able to best Helena by 78 points. In week 6, I think Helena will bounce back and the Milfs will continue to roll forward in their dominance.
Match-up 2: Azeem vs. PO Life:
This was a hard pick for me, but Azeem does it again, beating PO by 28 points. Another solid performance from Russia, but weak sauce from the other 3 on his squad got him through the week, PO Life had a big week from Italy, but again a week bench. PO life is guaranteed a win in their bye-week, and Azeem has a tough match-up against Aaron's Black Crackers, where Azeem could finally go down and no-longer be undefeated.
And TEGHAN IS ON A ROLL! SHE BEAT THE TSUNAMI, GIVING HER 2 WINS IN A ROW!

Weekly Awards:
Rockstar of the Week:
Can be summed up by this video:
Blowout of the Week:
This goes to the Baby Ducks' slaughter of the Axis of Evil by 213 points.
Squeak-er of the Week-er:
LAUREN WINS (As expected) over the GDI by 22 points.
Bonehead Move of the Week:
This is for the teams who either took the 7 points that don't need it on the test, or the teams who really needed it, but didn't take it.
The Sad Trombone:
I am officially renaming this the Lucas Ryan award as he is the only defeated team in the league.....and I don't see that changing anytime soon (well, until he plays Alex.....that could be the real Toilet Bowl)!
Week 6 Predictions:
Teghan over Kim Jong Tomb (can she go 3 in a row?)
Baby Ducks (easily) over Lauren
Axis of Evil over GDI
Katie over Tsunami of Insane Daleks
ABC over Azeem
Macalaster Milfs over T-Money$$$
Hellena over Adrienne
Games of the Week:
There are 2 clear favorites for week 6 match-ups to watch. The first is Azeem vs Aaron's Black Crackers. Azeem has been squeaking out wins and the ABCs have been on quite the roll as of late, making this a match-up to watch, and we'll see if the lone undefeated of the LDC's goes down and the bloodbath in that division continues.
The second is Katie vs. The Tsunami of Insane Daleks. This doesn't seem that attractive with a 3-2 vs a 2-3 in the First worlds, but Thomas has been bouncing back, and Katie's countries have been in-frequent. I am not too sure with my pick of Katie over Thomas, and will watch this match-up throughout the week.
Week 6 will be interesting with the short supplemental draft, some heavy hitters, and much angst after the test. With this laden corner, I can think of only one appropriate sign-off
