2012 AP Government Supreme Court Hall of Fame--2nd Block
One of the most difficult elements of preparing for the AP exam in my opinion is being asked to have a wide ranging knowledge of supreme court decisions. As a useful study tool, my students drew one of sixty supreme court cases randomly out of a hat and were asked to do three things with them: 1.) Write a case brief 2.) Put together a 3-5 minute presentation on their case "inducting it into the Supreme Court Hall of Fame 3.) Write an impact statement describing why the case is influential and some sample questions that could show up on an AP exam pertaining to their case. Below are the videos of student presentations.
