First things first, I think everyone should read this post while listening to the following song.....
For the un-initiated, this is the Nations of Domination entrance/theme music. One of the sweetest WWE factions of all time. You should learn this song well, as I think you'll hear it each time I lay waste to all of you. For two weeks in a row, your commissioner has dominated the top of the leader board, and I don't think there is any stopping me. Period!
Since this is my first commentary of this season, I'll go easy in the rest of my explanations of match-ups and awards, and once you all get a firmer footing under your teams and any strategy you may use, I'll add more each week.
Really, there was only one feature match-up this week, My Nations of DomiNation vs Colton's "Halberstram's I reject Categorical Identities." Two titans, Master vs Protege were set on a clash course in the first week and for the only time this season.
Halberstram's gooey critical mess was led by the highest scoring country in the league this week, Switzerland. With 150 points coming from the Davos economic forum, it looked like Colton might not be stopped. However the Australian Open, Turkey going Buckwild and the glory of Vladimir Putin were the right triple threat to take down a WEAK performance from Colton's bench. We'll see if he can dominate with Davos over in later weeks, or if this is just a blip on the radar. This match was also your squeak-er-of-the-week-er because of my 3 point victory.
Here are your inaugural weekly awards:
Rockstar of the Week: I'll give it to Colton and Switzerland (mostly Switzerland)
Blowout of the week: Bad Wolf taking down Kathryn by 117 points
Squeak-er-of-the-week-er: The Nations of DomiNation vs Colton's gooey K mess
Bonehead Move of the Week: Kathryn for waiting too long to drop teams with Negative Points
Sad Trombone: Kathryn for being last in the league.
Matches to look out for next week:
People's Republic of Tyranny vs Lizard Skynard (both won week 1, were within 9 points of each other)
The Canada vs Bad Wolf (Both Won Week 1 within 50 points of each other).
It's 10pm and I'm exhausted....and HHH just won the Rumble....so I need to go watch Wrestling Fans complain online.
More next week
